Dad here, writing you at the request of my 8 year old who was wondering if
the ToothFairy would come tonight because she forgot to come last night.

My daughter Maddie would like a good reason why you didn¹t come last night‹I
personally think it had something to do with the plastic baggie the tooth
was placed in, or maybe it was because the ToothFairy was extremely busy and
may have simply missed our house. Or, maybe it had something to do with the
fact it was holiday. We were at the fireworks show really late and were all
very tired when we got home. Maddie was going to write a note to you, but
she was really tired too and so it didn¹t happen. She thinks it¹s sort of
unfair that all you get is teeth and in return the kids get money.

I know there are millions of kids who probably get visited each night so
I¹ve tried to encourage her to be patient and see what happens tonight.

Dear toothfairy,

I know that your schedule is very tight. I also know that we were not scheduled for a lost tooth. However, Jessica's molar has decided that it would hurry and come out. We did not have much notice. I know how busy you are, because sometimes it takes you a few days. Also , once we got money from your assistant. We just want you to know that that is fine with us. Jess wants to ask why she always gets money. She says that sometimes her friends get toys. She would really like to get a toy. She likes CD"S and is looking forward to having Disney Mania 8. But, it is okay if you can't get that to her.

She is a very sweet girl and gets excited to have whatever you can bring.

Thank you so much for writing me about Jessica's molar. You are right - sometimes I get so busy with so many boys and girls that I miss one or two houses and have to rely on my assistants to help me out. Some children get money and some children get toys. It all depends on how many little boys and girls lose their teeth in one night. I'm not sure if I have Disney's Mania 8 up in Toothfairyland. I'll have to take a look. You can read all kinds of questions and answers to questions like these on my website, toothfairyland.com under the tab "write me." Jessica might enjoy that. Online Tooth Fairy. This blog is to share with you some of the adorable comments I receive from children. I will admit that about half the emails I get from children are because I didn't show up last night.

For every parent who wonders what on earth to do when the Tooth Fairy forgets to show -- no worries. Email me at Toothfairy@toothfairyland.com. I generally also tell them Mom or Dad was very smart to remind me by email and I'll do my best to get there tonight.
